DEPRESSION : A MAJOR ISSUE
According to a research 43% of young adults are in depression and India leads the world in teenage or young adults depression. Every year thousands of students commit suicide and this is not seen as a major problem. Students go through a lot which is sometimes difficult to understand, they can't think like adults and they have already left their young self behind. Changes are often not easy to adapt. There is no exact reason for a person to be depressed but 1 out of every 10 adolescents go through a major episode of depression once in their lifetime. Depression leads to cut out interaction with the peers and family. School performance is highly tampered and a vicious cycle is birthed leading to misleading drug and alcohol abuse. Having sexual misadventures leading to antisocial behavior and yet again comes depression. Without any outside help this cycle is unbroken and hence leads to suicide.
